- Identifying suitable factory/vendor for Product Categories selected by Buyer
- “On-Boarding” Supplier/Factory (Factory Audits, Ethical & Social Compliances, Fair Trade Practices, Statutory Compliances and any other compliances as specifically required by Buyer.
- Negotiating best price & terms for the Buyer
- Arranging sampling
- Approval of Artworks, Packaging, Labelling, Barcodes etc.
- Production Follow up to ensure timely shipment
- In Production Inspections to ensure correct finishing, packaging and labelling
- Pre-Shipment Final inspection
- Co-ordinating shipment with Forwarder & all logistics back up, including container consolidation, if required.
- Once appointed, GSS will act as the Buyers Office in India.
- GSS Merchandisers as well as Administrative Staff will assist & support with any and all operations or tasks such as arranging factory visits, internal travel & Hotel bookings within India during India trips, secretarial work etc. and generally take care of all matters that Buyer may require.
